The Learning DNA 360° Assessment

Clarity. Confidence. A clear plan forward.

If you’re worried about your child’s learning, attention, behaviour, or emotional regulation, the hardest part is often not knowing why things feel hard — or what to do next.

The entry point to all of our support services is our unique and in depth, 360° Assessment. This is our flagship assessment, designed & led by L7 assessors; designed to give parents and children clear, data-driven answers, without guesswork. We don’t do labels-for-the-sake-of-labels, we always do the right thing by every child according to what is right for their needs.

Our 360 degree assessment takes an in depth look at how your child learns, not just what they struggle with — so support can finally be tailored to them.

What is a 360° Assessment?

A 360° Assessment is a comprehensive, whole-child assessment assessing over 14 skills for learning that brings together:

  • Cognitive and learning skills

  • Attention, memory, processing speed and executive function

  • Sensory, motor and visual foundations for learning

  • Emotional regulation and readiness to learn

  • Background information from parents (and school where appropriate)

  • Emotional and mental health and the effect on learning

  • Dyslexia, ADHD and Autism traits (plus likelihood of reaching a diagnosis)

  • Physical difficulties

  • Sensory difficulties

Rather than testing one narrow area in isolation, we join the dots — so patterns become clear and decisions are based on evidence, not assumptions.

Parents often tell us:
“This is the first time everything finally made sense.”

Who is it for?

Our 360° Assessment is ideal for children who:

  • Are struggling to keep up with their peers in school

  • Are anxious, overwhelmed, or avoiding schoolwork

  • Have attention, memory, or processing difficulties

  • Are not making expected progress despite support

  • Have suspected dyslexia, ADHD, autism, or learning differences

  • Have been “missed” or misunderstood in school

You do not need a diagnosis or referral to get started. Our assessments can be run in person or online.
