The Learning DNA process

We believe in the power of individualised approaches. Most of our young clients start with our 360 degree assessment. This serves to ensure we are confident of your child’s strengths and areas for development. This saves you precious time and money…getting the support your child needs first time. Some clients move straight into a bespoke programme, depending on their cognitive profile and any relevant, previous diagnoses.

    Step 1: Assess and Prioritise

As a parent, sometimes it's hard to know how to help your child. If you’re struggling to find the support you need, or you don’t know where to start - we are your answer.

The first step on your journey with us is a free 20 minute consultation. Here you can discuss your concerns with our specialists. We will tell you there and then if we can help.

If we can help, your child will most likely undergo a 360 degree assessment which takes just 90 minutes (online or in person) and we will give you all the answers you need, based on data and our 45+ years of experience in education. Some children can move straight into a programme of support, depending on their cognitive profile.

    Step 2: 360 Degree Report

After our 360 degree assessment, we want to ensure that you and your child feel informed and empowered during every step of our programme.

At Learning DNA we believe every child can achieve their potential with the correct assessment and programme of interventions, and that every child can shine. We stay up to date with the leading research in the world to help us to utilise cutting edge interventions to deliver the best results possible for your child.

Following our 360 degree assessment, we always take the time to explain our findings to you and the reasons behind our proposed plan of intervention. We are straight talking, because you and your child deserve the very best advice and support with proven interventions which are based on concrete results.

  • Step 3: (Optional) Diagnostic Assessments

Following our process and the insights gained from your child's 360 degree assessment, if you wish to access a programme of support, we then tailor a plan for your child to match their unique needs in order of priority.

We know that seeking a diagnosis is a very personal decision; therefore you can request a diagnostic assessment throughout our programme - if you wish.

We always put your child at the centre of all of our decision making. So, using our professional experience of working with thousands of young people over the years, we will support and guide your decision making so that your child achieves the most beneficial outcome.

    Step 4: Therapeutic Interventions

We strive to get to the root cause of a child’s difficulties rather than just labelling them and hoping for the best.

We offer a range of therapeutic interventions to support a variety of learning needs. Whether your child needs vision therapy to support improved reading skills, social skills tutoring, or tailored subject support, we will support your child throughout their journey with us.

Our most popular therapy programme is our movement therapy programme, inspired by INPP and RMTi therapies - we deliver tailored, remote movement therapy with our professional clinicians. This therapy generates impactful results for children with ADHD, Autism, Sensory Difficulties, Anxiety, Motor Co-ordination difficulties and much more.
